Gwen Stefani escribe este tema desde la posición de una pequeña mujer que vive incapaz e indefensa en una sociedad machista.

“La escribí porque mi padre se molestó por ir a la casa de Tony [compañero de la banda] y regresar de noche a la casa. Quiero decir ¡ya pues!, voy a cumplir 30. No cambiaría el ser mujer, pero a veces los hombres no entienden lo que eso significa”, comentó la artista en una entrevista.
